I WAS born in a barn! It was a busy barn with cows and lots of noisy chickens. My favorite memories of my time there were when Mom, just after breakfast, taught us kittens a short lesson. According to Mom, there were five main things we should know. 

1. Every human needs a cat, 

2. All good cats should know how to hunt, 

3. All cats should learn something new each day, 

4. Every cat should meet someone new as often as possible and 

5. Sunshine and purring makes for a happier life.
